The Scottish Saxophone Quartet performs the world premiere of 15 new works by composers from around the world, as part of the Global Composer Project “Café Gherkinforke”, an international project created and curated by Australian composer Paul Kopetz. The programme embraces a diverse range of musical styles, from contemporary classical and film music to jazz fusion, experimental and dancehall.
Artisti Improvvisati — a happenstance convergence of musicians who share a love of life, creativity, fine food, wine, and, of course, music — will open proceedings, performing a lively mix of music ranging from classical to musical theatre.
